Bitget has launched a new educational initiative called TradFi 101, designed to help cryptocurrency users better understand traditional financial markets.

The program covers stocks, exchange-traded funds, commodities, currencies and broader economic trends. Bitget said the initiative will continue over the long term rather than operate as a temporary campaign.

Bitget Expands Financial Education Beyond Crypto

TradFi 101 focuses on the basic principles of global financial markets and how different asset classes influence investment decisions.

The course explains stocks, commodities, foreign exchange, ETFs and important economic factors. Its main goal is to give crypto-focused traders a stronger understanding of traditional finance as digital assets become increasingly connected to global markets.

Bitget also plans to work with exchanges, research companies, educators, financial news providers and content creators to make financial knowledge easier to access.

Early participants and invited contributors reportedly include Coin Bureau, CoinGecko and TradingView.

Traders Are Following Multiple Asset Classes

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said financial markets are becoming more closely connected and traders are no longer concentrating on only one type of asset.

Crypto investors increasingly monitor interest rates, inflation, stock markets, commodities and global liquidity alongside Bitcoin and other digital assets.

This growing connection between different markets means traders may need a broader understanding of finance to make informed investment decisions.

Tokenization Supports the TradFi 101 Initiative

Chen also highlighted tokenization as an important reason behind the launch of TradFi 101.

As more traditional assets become available through blockchain-based platforms, investors may gain easier access to stocks, commodities, funds and other financial products.

However, greater access also creates a need for stronger financial education. Bitget believes users should understand how traditional and digital markets interact as the two sectors continue to converge.

TradFi 101 aims to prepare investors for a future in which tokenized traditional assets and cryptocurrencies exist within the same investment environment.

What Does the TradFi 101 Course Cover?

The educational program is divided into six learning modules.

Topics include financial market fundamentals, major asset classes, trading mechanics, macroeconomics, risk management, trading psychology and the future of integrated financial markets.

Bitget also plans to provide weekly educational content, community activities, quizzes and simple lessons covering 100 important financial questions.

The course is designed to make complex financial subjects easier to understand for users who may have entered investing through cryptocurrency.

Bitget Highlights the Convergence of Markets

The program also examines how traditional finance and digital assets could become increasingly connected.

According to Bitget, its Universal Exchange model already gives users access to more than two million crypto tokens, thousands of tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, foreign exchange products and precious metals.

The launch of TradFi 101 reflects the changing investment landscape. Crypto traders are increasingly participating in markets that extend far beyond digital currencies.

As the boundaries between asset classes continue to fade, Bitget wants to help its users understand both traditional finance and the growing tokenized economy.
