Strategy, the world’s largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder, is preparing to introduce daily dividend payments across four of its preferred stocks following overwhelming shareholder approval.

The Bitcoin treasury company announced on Wednesday, October 28, that shareholders had approved amendments affecting STRC, STRF, STRK, and STRD. Preliminary voting results showed that 99.3% of votes cast supported the proposal.

The decision represents a significant change in Strategy’s dividend distribution structure, potentially making its preferred securities more attractive to income-focused investors.

Strategy Announces New Daily Dividend Payment Schedule

Under the approved amendments, Strategy will transition its preferred stocks from semi-monthly or quarterly dividend distributions to payments on every business day.

Dividends will accumulate throughout the calendar year, including weekends and public holidays. However, payments will be processed on the following business day.

Importantly, the changes will not increase the securities’ annual dividend rates. Instead, investors will receive smaller payments more frequently.

Strategy expects its STRC preferred stock to begin daily dividend distributions on November 2, 2026.

Meanwhile, the remaining three preferred securities, STRF, STRK, and STRD, are scheduled to adopt the new payment structure on January 4, 2027.

The changes remain subject to the amended securities terms becoming effective and the applicable dividend declarations.

Why Strategy Is Introducing Daily Dividends

Strategy believes that more frequent dividend payments could improve the investment appeal of its preferred shares.

By reducing the interval between dividend accrual and cash distribution, the company aims to provide investors with greater flexibility in managing their income.

Additionally, the new structure could support trading liquidity and contribute to greater price stability across its preferred stock offerings.

These improvements may prove particularly relevant for investors seeking regular cash distributions from securities associated with Bitcoin treasury companies.

Nevertheless, preferred stock dividends remain subject to the company’s financial position, applicable legal requirements, and board approval.

Strategy Preferred Stocks Offer Annual Dividends of 8% to 12%

Strategy currently offers four US-listed preferred securities with different dividend structures and investment characteristics.

STRC carries a variable annual dividend rate, currently set at 12%.

Meanwhile, STRF and STRD provide fixed annual dividend rates of 10%, while STRK offers a fixed 8% rate.

STRK also includes a conversion feature, allowing holders to exchange their preferred shares for Strategy common stock under specified conditions.

Although the daily payment schedule changes how frequently investors receive cash, it does not automatically increase their total annual dividend entitlement.

Furthermore, investors should recognize that preferred shares carry risks, including potential price fluctuations and changes in the issuing company’s financial condition.

Strive Expands Its Daily Dividend Offerings

Strategy is not the only Bitcoin treasury company exploring more frequent dividend distributions.

Strive, another publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder, introduced daily cash dividends through its SATA preferred stock earlier in 2026.

The company has since expanded its preferred securities lineup with SATS, which offers a fixed annual dividend rate of 15%.

Strive scheduled its first SATS dividend payment for November 9, 2026, with subsequent daily distributions planned for eligible business days.

The company’s expansion reflects growing interest in preferred stock structures designed to generate recurring income.

Strive Raises $630 Million Through Preferred Stock Offering

On October 20, Strive completed an enlarged public offering of its SATS preferred shares, raising approximately $630 million before expenses.

The transaction involved the sale of seven million preferred shares at $90 each.

According to the company, the proceeds may support several corporate objectives, including additional Bitcoin acquisitions, working capital, and other investments.

However, Strive has not specified an exact portion of the offering proceeds that will be allocated to Bitcoin purchases.

The capital raise provides the company with additional financial flexibility as it expands its digital asset treasury strategy.

Strategy Maintains Its Lead Among Corporate Bitcoin Holders

Strategy continues to dominate the corporate Bitcoin treasury sector by the size of its cryptocurrency holdings.

According to figures reported in late October 2026, Strategy held approximately 848,517 BTC, maintaining its position as the largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder.

Meanwhile, Strive had accumulated approximately 43,000 BTC, placing it among the industry’s largest publicly traded Bitcoin treasury companies.

The substantial difference in holdings highlights Strategy’s established position within the corporate Bitcoin investment landscape.

However, Strive’s recent capital raising activities and expansion into preferred securities suggest that competition within the sector continues to develop.

Daily Dividends Could Reshape Bitcoin Treasury Financing

The introduction of daily dividend payments highlights how Bitcoin treasury companies are developing new financing structures to attract investors.

For Strategy, more frequent distributions could strengthen the appeal of its preferred securities without increasing their stated annual dividend rates.

Meanwhile, Strive’s expanding preferred stock offerings demonstrate an alternative approach to raising capital while providing investors with recurring income opportunities.

As competition intensifies, investors will likely monitor whether these products achieve greater liquidity, more stable trading prices, and sustained demand.

Ultimately, the success of these initiatives will depend on investor confidence, dividend sustainability, and the financial performance of the companies issuing the securities.
