The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of aircraft ferry support and related equipment to Japan.
The proposed agreement is valued at approximately $159 million.
Boeing Named Principal Contractor
Boeing will serve as the principal contractor for the aircraft support deal, according to the State Department.
The agreement would provide Japan with aircraft ferry support services and associated equipment as part of the approved sale.
The deal further strengthens Boeing’s role in supporting U.S. defense and aviation cooperation with Japan.
