Solana is seeing a sharp increase in blockchain activity as the broader cryptocurrency market recovers. At the same time, the value of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) on Solana is approaching $4 billion, highlighting growing adoption across the network.
Solana Transactions Reach Record 4.2 Billion
Transaction activity on the Solana blockchain climbed to an all-time high in July. The milestone came shortly before SOL staged a strong rally and moved above $100 for the first time since February.
On-chain data highlighted by The Kobeissi Letter showed that Solana processed approximately 4.2 billion transactions during July. That represented a 13.5% increase from the previous month.
Solana’s transaction count has also expanded significantly over a longer period. Since December, monthly activity has increased by around 2 billion transactions, representing growth of approximately 91%.
Tokenized Real-World Assets Continue to Expand
The increase in Solana network activity has coincided with rapid growth in the tokenized real-world asset market.
Citing data from RWA.xyz, The Kobeissi Letter reported that the total value of distributed RWAs across tracked blockchain networks has surpassed $38 billion.
Real-world asset tokenization involves bringing traditional assets, such as financial instruments and other tangible or income-producing assets, onto blockchain networks.
Solana RWA Market Nears $4 Billion
Solana has captured a notable share of this growing market.
The value of tokenized real-world assets on Solana has climbed to nearly $4 billion, representing an increase of roughly 11.8% over the past month.
The combination of rising RWA adoption and record transaction activity suggests that usage of the Solana ecosystem continues to expand beyond simple cryptocurrency transfers.
SOL Price Rallies Around 40%
The surge in blockchain activity has occurred alongside a powerful recovery in SOL price.
According to CoinMarketCap data cited in the report, SOL gained approximately 40% over an eight-day period. Much of the advance coincided with a broader rebound across Bitcoin, altcoins and the overall cryptocurrency market.
SOL’s move above $100 also marked an important psychological milestone after months of weaker price action.
Lower Treasury Yields Boost Crypto Market Sentiment
The crypto rally gained additional momentum following an announcement from the U.S. Treasury Department involving its long-dated bond buyback program.
The Treasury announced plans to double certain long-term bond buybacks to at least $4 billion per operation. The development contributed to lower Treasury yields and improved investor appetite for riskier assets.
Cryptocurrencies benefited from the shift in market sentiment, helping SOL extend its recovery alongside the wider digital asset market.
With transaction volumes reaching record levels, tokenized assets approaching $4 billion and SOL posting strong gains, Solana remains one of the key blockchain networks to watch as crypto market activity continues to recover.
