At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 fell 0.18%.
Nikkei 225 Ends Lower

Crude oil for October delivery fell 1.02%, or $0.93, to $90.08 per barrel.
Brent crude for November delivery declined 1.09%, or $1.04, to $94.59 per barrel.

Japan Stock Market Remains Mixed
The Nikkei 225 ended only modestly lower, but the session showed clear differences between individual stocks and sectors.
Strong gains in companies such as Nitori Holdings and Kansai Electric Power were not enough to offset broader weakness across the Japanese market.
Investors will continue to watch currency movements, commodity prices and sector performance for further direction in Japan stocks.
