MicroStrategy Makes Ninth Bitcoin Purchase in Nine Weeks, Acquires $101 Million in BTC
MicroStrategy has added another $101 million worth of Bitcoin to its holdings, marking its ninth BTC purchase in as many weeks. The company now possesses 447,470 BTC, acquired for a total of $27.97 billion.
1,070 BTC Bought at $94,004 per Bitcoin
In its latest announcement, the company revealed it purchased 1,070 BTC at an average price of $94,004 per coin. Additionally, MicroStrategy reported a 48% BTC yield in Q4 2024 and a 74.3% yield for the entire 2024 fiscal year.
With this acquisition, MicroStrategy solidifies its status as the public company with the largest Bitcoin reserve. Just last week, it acquired 2,138 BTC for $209 million.
The company has also disclosed plans to raise up to $2 billion to continue its aggressive Bitcoin investment strategy.
