U.S. Crude Oil Production Hits Record High in June, EIA Reports

U.S. crude oil production surged to a new record in June, according to the latest data released Friday by the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Oil output increased by 133,000 barrels per day (bpd), reaching 13.58 million bpd — the highest level ever recorded for the country.

The EIA also noted that U.S. crude oil and petroleum product demand, measured through product supplied, rose in June to its highest level since October 2024.

Gasoline demand remained strong, climbing to levels last seen in July 2024. At the same time, jet fuel consumption showed a remarkable rebound, with product supplied reaching its highest point since August 2018. This highlights renewed strength in the aviation sector, signaling both economic activity and increased travel demand.
