U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday acknowledged Elon Musk’s recent expression of regret over critical social media posts made about him.
In an interview with the New York Post, Trump said, “I thought it was very nice that he did that,” referring to Musk’s comments.
Musk had previously admitted that some of his posts about the president from the past week went “too far,” signaling what appears to be a softening of tensions between the two.
The remarks come after Musk made pointed social media comments aimed at Trump—comments he now concedes were excessive.
