Swiss Watch Exports Up 6.9% in July as U.S. Demand Jumps 45%

Swiss watch exports rose 6.9% year-on-year in July, reaching CHF 2.399 billion, according to data from the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry.

Wristwatches were the main driver, with exports up 7.5% to CHF 2.299 billion.

The United States led global demand, recording a 45% surge to CHF 554.5 million, the strongest growth among major markets.

Singapore also performed well, climbing 14.8% to CHF 147.0 million, while Hong Kong rose 4.6% to CHF 155.6 million.

The United Kingdom market remained stable, with only a 0.2% increase to CHF 147.2 million.

However, some Asian markets declined. Japan dropped 10.1% to CHF 169.1 million, and China fell 6.5% to CHF 164.2 million.
