Cheaper Plans for India’s Price-Sensitive Market
Global tech companies often design lower-cost plans for India to appeal to its price-conscious consumers. With nearly one billion internet users, India represents one of the world’s biggest growth opportunities.
Features of ChatGPT Go
Subscribers to ChatGPT Go get access to:
- 10x more messages compared to the free plan
- 10x more image generations
- Faster response times
- Increased message limits on higher-tier plans
OpenAI said the new plan is designed for Indian users who want advanced AI tools at an affordable price.
Other ChatGPT Subscription Plans
OpenAI also offers premium options:
- ChatGPT Pro at ₹19,900/month
- ChatGPT Plus at ₹1,999/month
These plans provide higher usage limits and advanced features for professional users.
OpenAI’s India Focus
Earlier this year, CEO Sam Altman met with India’s IT minister to discuss creating a low-cost AI ecosystem. Altman recently noted that India could soon overtake the U.S. as OpenAI’s largest user base.
