Germany’s inflation rate climbed to 2.6% in November, according to data released on Friday by the country’s federal statistics office, confirming earlier preliminary estimates.
Harmonised consumer prices, which are used to allow comparisons across European Union member states, had risen by 2.3% on a year-on-year basis in October, highlighting a renewed uptick in price pressures.
The federal statistics office said that more detailed monthly inflation data are available on its official website.
