Germany’s September Inflation Confirmed at 2.4%
Germany’s inflation rate edged slightly higher in September, reaching 2.4%, according to official data released on Thursday by the Federal Statistics Office (Destatis). The figure confirmed the agency’s preliminary estimate issued earlier this month.
Consumer prices harmonized to align with European Union standards rose 2.4% year-on-year, compared to 2.1% in August, signaling a modest uptick in inflationary pressure across Europe’s largest economy.
