Ford Recalls 41,875 U.S. Vehicles Over Faulty Rearview Cameras
Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) is recalling 41,875 vehicles in the United States due to rearview camera defects, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The recall was issued because the cameras in affected vehicles may display blank or distorted images. This fault reduces drivers’ ability to see behind their vehicles, increasing the risk of collisions.
The NHTSA warned that a malfunctioning rearview camera can prevent drivers from spotting obstacles or pedestrians when reversing, posing a serious safety hazard.
