European Central Bank (ECB) policymaker Francois Villeroy de Galhau stated on Friday that he would not rule out the possibility of further monetary policy easing in upcoming meetings.
“There is no fixed path, but another rate cut remains entirely possible in the next sessions,” Villeroy told BFM Business.
On Thursday, the ECB kept interest rates unchanged, in line with market expectations, but gave no clear signal about its next policy direction.
