BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF Hits $10B in Inflows as Shares Reach Record Highs
BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) saw its largest-ever single-day inflow on August 11, pulling in $640.68 million (149,168 ETH) and pushing total net inflows since launch past $10 billion. ETHA now holds over 3.3 million ETH, after adding 1.25 million in July alone. The fund’s share price surged nearly 5% to an all-time high of $33.02, marking a 200% rally from April lows of $11.50.
Spot Ether ETFs across U.S. issuers also broke records, attracting over $1 billion in combined daily inflows for the first time — with Fidelity’s FETH contributing $276.9 million. Trading volume for ETHA hit $1.8 billion on Monday, reflecting surging institutional demand.
BlackRock’s pending SEC application to allow ETH staking within ETHA could attract even more capital. Analysts note spot Ether ETFs have recently outperformed Bitcoin ETFs, with ETH-focused funds pulling in 5.5 times more daily inflows amid Ethereum’s price surge to $4,300. Market forecasts suggest the rally could extend toward $12,000 by year-end.
