NVIDIA Stock Hits 52-Week High as Analyst Sets $7 Trillion Valuation Target

NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) shares jumped 2.5% on Thursday, reaching a new 52-week high after Cantor Fitzgerald analyst C.J. Muse lifted his price target on the AI leader to a Street-high $300 per share.

At that price, NVIDIA’s market capitalization would soar to around $7.3 trillion, up from its current $4.7 trillion, solidifying its position as the most valuable company in the world.

Cantor Fitzgerald Analyst: “This Is Not a Bubble”

Muse’s revised target follows investor meetings in New York City this week featuring CEO Jensen Huang, CFO Colette Kress, and other senior NVIDIA executives.

Addressing widespread “AI bubble” speculation, Muse pushed back strongly, saying, “This is not a bubble — we’re still in the early innings of a multi-trillion-dollar AI investment cycle.”

He noted that hyperscalers, along with enterprise and edge AI players, are driving “hundreds of billions of dollars in demand” for AI infrastructure that will continue for years.

NVIDIA’s Partnership With OpenAI and AI Infrastructure Expansion

A major takeaway from the meetings was NVIDIA’s new partnership with OpenAI, which will help OpenAI transition into a self-hosted hyperscaler. The move aims to cut costs by removing layers of margin from server manufacturers and cloud providers, narrowing the price gap between NVIDIA’s GPUs and ASICs to about 15%.

Muse said the partnership is a strategic win for both companies and could put pressure on the ASIC market.

He also highlighted NVIDIA’s Extreme Co-Design initiative, which advances AI hardware and software optimization on an annual cycle. NVIDIA’s CUDA-X platform plays a central role in delivering full-stack AI solutions, catering to customers seeking end-to-end deployment rather than standalone chips.

Muse emphasized that CEO Jensen Huang and his leadership team remain “laser-focused, disciplined, and intensely competitive,” noting that NVIDIA could continue holding at least 75% of the AI accelerator market in the years ahead.

Earnings Outlook: Room for Explosive Growth

On earnings, Muse projects EPS of $8 in 2026 (vs. consensus of $6.26) and $11 in 2027 (vs. consensus of $7.36), calling these targets “very achievable.”

Based on these forecasts, Cantor Fitzgerald raised its price target to $300, representing a 60% near-term upside, and sees further long-term growth potential as NVIDIA benefits from a $3–4 trillion AI infrastructure buildout.

Muse concluded with a nod to Bruce Springsteen, saying, “In the words of the Boss… Baby, NVDA was (and continues to be) Born to Run.
