Lenovo Reports Record Revenue as AI Demand Drives Profit Growth and Stock Rally

The strong results helped the company overcome challenges including tariff pressures and increasing component costs, highlighting the growing impact of AI adoption across the technology sector.
Lenovo Achieves Record Annual Revenue and Profit Growth
The world’s largest personal computer manufacturer reported revenue of $83.1 billion for the fiscal year ending March 31, representing a 20% increase compared to the previous year.
Profit attributable to shareholders rose sharply by 38% to $1.91 billion, reflecting stronger performance across multiple business segments.
Investors responded positively to the results, pushing Lenovo shares significantly higher.
Lenovo Stock Surges to Highest Level in More Than Two Decades
Hong Kong-listed Lenovo shares jumped more than 13%, reaching HK$14.98, their highest level since March 2000.
The rally came as investors welcomed accelerating AI-related growth and improving profitability within key divisions.
The stock movement highlights increasing market enthusiasm toward companies benefiting from the global artificial intelligence expansion.
Fourth-Quarter Results Show Accelerating Momentum
Lenovo’s fourth-quarter revenue climbed 27% year-over-year to a record $21.6 billion.
Quarterly net profit also increased substantially, rising to $521 million, compared with $90 million during the same period a year earlier.
The results suggest continued momentum in AI infrastructure and enterprise technology spending.
AI Business Becomes a Major Revenue Driver for Lenovo
The company stated that AI-related revenue increased by 105% during the fiscal year, accounting for approximately one-third of total group revenue.
During the fourth quarter alone, AI-related activities contributed 38% of total sales, emphasizing the growing importance of artificial intelligence within Lenovo’s business model.
Growth was driven by demand across several categories, including:

- AI-enabled personal computers
- Enterprise infrastructure solutions

AI Server Demand Boosts Infrastructure Business
Lenovo’s infrastructure solutions division, which includes server operations, returned to full-year profitability and generated a record $19.2 billion in revenue.
Strong demand for AI servers played a major role in supporting growth.
As companies continue investing in AI training and computing capabilities, server manufacturers have emerged among the biggest beneficiaries of the AI boom.
Lenovo Strengthens Position in the Global PC Market
The company’s intelligent devices division, which covers PCs and smartphones, recorded 17% annual revenue growth.
Lenovo also said its global PC market share reached a record 24.4% during the fourth quarter, reinforcing its position as the largest PC manufacturer worldwide.
The figures suggest Lenovo continues to expand market leadership despite increasing competition.
Dividend Increase Signals Confidence
Lenovo’s board proposed a final dividend of HK33.7 cents per share, higher than the HK30.5 cents distributed a year earlier.
The increased payout may indicate confidence from management regarding future earnings potential and continued AI-driven growth.
