Stellantis Reports Strong Q1 Shipment Growth
Stellantis announced on Wednesday that its global vehicle shipments increased by 12% year-on-year in the first quarter, reaching an estimated total of 1.4 million units. The growth reflects improving demand across key markets and a solid start to the year for the automaker.
North America and Europe Drive Expansion
The company reported a significant 17% increase in quarterly shipments in North America, highlighting strong regional performance. In the Enlarged Europe area, shipments also rose by 12%, contributing further to the overall growth momentum.
Weak Performance in GCC Markets
Despite the positive global trend, Stellantis experienced a sharp decline in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, where shipments dropped by more than 50%. This regional weakness partially offset gains seen in other major markets.
