German GDP Rises 0.3% in Q4 as Economy Shows Signs of Recovery

Germany’s economy expanded by 0.3% in the fourth quarter of 2025 compared with the previous three months, according to official data released on Wednesday.

The Federal Statistics Office confirmed its earlier preliminary estimate, indicating that economic activity showed modest quarter-on-quarter growth at the end of the year. The latest figures suggest that Europe’s largest economy managed to maintain positive momentum heading into 2026, despite ongoing domestic and external challenges.
