OpenAI CFO Says Microsoft Deal Eases Fundraising Efforts
OpenAI Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar said on Wednesday that the company’s new partnership with Microsoft will make it easier to raise capital.
Speaking at an event in Riyadh, Friar explained that the agreement reached this week allows OpenAI to secure funding in a much simpler and more efficient way.
“The deal enables us to raise capital in a much less complex manner,” Friar said, highlighting how the collaboration streamlines financial operations for the AI leader.
OpenAI Plans to Work With Governments Worldwide
Friar also shared that OpenAI intends to partner with governments across the globe to deploy and regulate its advanced artificial intelligence technologies.
She added that such cooperation could enhance the United States’ global influence by strengthening its soft power through responsible AI innovation.
The Microsoft partnership marks another milestone in OpenAI’s expansion, as the company continues to align itself with major tech and policy leaders worldwide.
