Amazon Plans €1.4 Billion Investment in the Netherlands to Boost AI and Seller Tools

Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) is set to invest €1.4 billion ($1.63 billion) in the Netherlands over the next three years, according to a report published Monday by Dutch financial newspaper FD.

The investment aims to strengthen Amazon’s technological infrastructure in the region, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI) development. According to Eva Faic, Amazon’s head for Belgium and the Netherlands, part of the funding will be used to enhance AI-driven tools and services that support entrepreneurs and sellers using the company’s e-commerce platform.

The move underscores Amazon’s continued push to expand its European operations, investing in digital innovation and business solutions designed to help local merchants grow online.
