PayPal Holdings announced plans to invest $100 million in startups across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The move will help the digital payments giant expand its presence in these rapidly growing markets.

The investment will be distributed through multiple channels, including minority stakes, acquisitions, and funding via PayPal Ventures.

This commitment builds on PayPal Ventures’ earlier backing of regional startups such as Tabby, Paymob, and Stitch.

With this initiative, PayPal aims to strengthen its footprint in the MENA region while pursuing new growth opportunities in emerging economies.
