WASHINGTON (Reuters) – On Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump sent a series of tariff letters to seven countries, among them Algeria, Iraq, Libya, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines.
The correspondence proposes imposing 30% tariffs on Algeria, Iraq, Libya, and Sri Lanka; 25% on Brunei and Moldova; and 20% on the Philippines.
