Meta is reportedly in talks to acquire PlayAI, a company specializing in voice replication technology, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday.
The move aligns with Meta’s broader strategy to strengthen its artificial intelligence capabilities by acquiring cutting-edge technology and top industry talent. As part of the deal, Meta is expected to absorb both PlayAI’s proprietary technology and select members of its team.
