Tesla to Invest $8 Billion in U.S. Infrastructure and Manufacturing This Fiscal Year

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) announced late Friday via a post on X that it plans to invest approximately $8 billion in U.S.-based infrastructure and manufacturing during the current fiscal year.

The electric vehicle maker highlighted that it has already committed around $44 billion in capital expenditures within the United States since its inception.

In the previous fiscal year alone, Tesla spent about $10 billion on capital projects.

“From the beginning, Tesla has prioritized investment in U.S. manufacturing and infrastructure,” the company wrote. “As of early this year, we had invested roughly $44 billion. In just the last fiscal year, we invested about $10 billion—and we plan to invest another $8 billion this fiscal year.”
