Bitget Wallet attributed its rapid growth to its integration with the TON ecosystem and Telegram, which significantly contributed to its user base expansion.
In September, Bitget Wallet reached nearly 6 million downloads, making it the second most downloaded crypto app globally, trailing only Binance. The wallet has more than doubled its user base since March 2024, now boasting over 40 million users worldwide, positioning it as one of the fastest-growing decentralized wallets this year.
Key factors driving Bitget Wallet’s growth include its beginner-friendly interface and integration of various Web3 services like asset management, swaps, crypto trading, and staking. It supports over 100 blockchains, 20,000 DApps, and millions of tokens.
The integration with the TON ecosystem and Telegram has been pivotal in boosting user adoption, allowing users to access wallet services directly through the messaging app. In Q3, the wallet saw a 4886% increase in TON on-chain addresses. It also saw significant growth in emerging markets, with user increases of 413% in Africa, 126% in South Asia, and 105% in the Middle East.
Bitget Wallet CEO Alvin Kan noted that integrating with platforms like Telegram simplifies crypto adoption for mainstream users, offering seamless interaction with decentralized platforms.
Additionally, Bitget Wallet introduced a tool for meme coin enthusiasts in September. The MemeX platform features a real-time discovery tool that highlights newly launched meme coins, making it easier for users to track potential 100x return opportunities.
